Day One Medical, LLC was formed in 2003 to commercialize neonatal product development efforts at Moberg Research, Inc. These efforts are funded in part by SBIR grants from the National Institutes of Health.
The founders of the company are Damon Lees, Gary Trapuzzano, and Dick Moberg. Mr. Lees heads the development of the automated neurologic assessment technology at the company. Mr. Trapuzzano brings decades of product development experience to the company. Mr. Moberg has been deeply involved in the neurological monitoring field for over 25 years. Mr. Trapuzzano and Mr. Moberg were the developers of the original Neurotrac Neurological Monitor first sold in 1982.
Day One Medical's mission is to provide easy-to-use and effective technology for neonatal brain assessment.
